The vehicle will use batteries made by Chinese companies Amprex Technology and BYD. According to the report, permits are not being given to new car manufacturers by the Chinese government, so Xiaomi will bring its electric vehicle to the market in collaboration with the state-owned Beijing Automotive Group.
